Ballistic, DNA test connect suspect to Brown University, MIT professor shootings
In a joint statement released by the Boston Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) revealed that ballistic and DNA testing linked 47-year-old Claudio Manuel Neves Valente responsible for both the Brown University shooting and the murder of an MIT professor.
