Pedestrians struck in Canton

CANTON, Mass. — Two pedestrians were struck in Canton on Friday, and one of them was hit by a police officer responding to a call.

The first pedestrian was hit by Dedham and Washington streets.

The second pedestrian was struck by a responding officer, not far from the police station.

Both victims are expected to be OK.

The Norfolk County District Attorney is now handling the case.
