About 11 seconds into this video, you can see the massive microburst rush down over the city of Tucson.
Microbursts occur in thunderstorms when cooled, heavier air plunges down with rain. The blast of air has no where to go but out, creating winds that can be 150 mph or faster.
This is Arizona’s monsoon season, where thunderstorms like this pop up quickly.
