LANCASTER COUNTY, Penn. — A Pennsylvania man is charged with 13 felonies and two misdemeanors related to the sexual assault of a teenager that started when she was just 11 years old.
Jose H. Perez, 37, was arrested and arraigned Sunday on multiple charges, including felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, WHTM reported.
Officials with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said Perez began abusing the girl in 2015 when she was 11, and the abuse continued for about five years.
Authorities said Perez abused the girl at multiple locations around Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, WHP-TV reported.
In 2018, Perez was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault for biting off his girlfriend’s ear during an argument, according to digital newspaper LancasterOnline. The woman, who required multiple stitches and was treated at a hospital, told authorities the couple lived together at the time.
