CRANSTON, R.I. — Police in Rhode Island area searching for the person behind an attempted armed robbery in Cranston.
The robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday at the BestWay Service Station and Food Mart on Park Avenue.
Police said the clerk was shot several times and taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, skeleton mask and gloves.
