President Trump rallies in New Hampshire on Sunday

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — President Trump will be in New Hampshire on Sunday to speak to his supporters, holding a rally in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

At 6:30 a.m., cars were already lining up ahead of Trump’s arrival.

Officials will begin shuttling people to the rally area around 8:30 a.m. and doors open at 10 a.m. The rally will be held in one of the airport hangers and Trump is expected to arrive by 1 p.m.

Sunday’s rally comes after a busy Saturday on the campaign trail. Trump made stops in North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin where he downplayed the nationwide spike of coronavirus.

“The cases are up, but listen to this, they all talk about cases,” Trump said. “You don’t see death, death cases, cases, you know why we have cases because we test so much and in many ways it’s good. And in many ways it’s foolish. Okay. In many ways it’s very foolish.”

Joe Biden was in Pennsylvania on Saturday campaigning where spoke to a drive-in crowd about COVID-19 and healthcare.

In response to Sunday’s rally, the Biden campaign said, “President Trump’s failure to act on COVID-19 has resulted in 471 lives lost in New Hampshire, more than 10,000 Granite Staters infected, hundreds of small businesses permanently closed, and thousands of workers out of jobs.”

“New Hampshire families deserve better than a President who, in the middle of a deadly pandemic, is working to dismantle the Affordable Care Act that provides critical protections to over 570,000 Granite Staters,” Biden said.
