Parkland school shooting survivor to attend Harvard in the fall

David Hogg, a survivor from the Parkland school shooting in February, announced on Twitter that he would be attending Harvard University in the fall.

Hogg announced the news Saturday morning, saying he planned on majoring in political science when he attends the university.

He was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in February when a former student killed 17 people and wounded 15 others on Valentine's Day earlier this year.

Hogg was a part of an event in the summer as people walked from Worcester to Springfield as part of a rally against gun violence.
