Majority of flights to, from Logan canceled as Nor'easter moves in

BOSTON — With a major Nor'easter impacting Boston and other major cities in the area, airlines have canceled a large amount of flights Thursday.

According to Flightaware, more than 60 percent of flights in to and out of Logan International Airport have already been canceled.

Laguardia, John F. Kennedy, and Newark are also seeing large amounts of cancellations impacting more than half of the flights.

Travelers staying in the City of Boston should have better luck, as the MBTA and Keolis both said they were ready for the storm, which could drop more than a foot of snow on most of Massachusetts.

MassDOT has advised drivers to stay off of the roads and work from home if possible. Gov. Baker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh have echoed that suggestion.
