Man struck, killed by MBTA Orange Line train

BOSTON (AP) - Transit police say a man was struck and killed by a northbound MBTA train at the Roxbury Crossing station.

Authorities say the unidentified man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was trespassing on the tracks when he was struck by an Orange Line train about 6:25 p.m. Saturday. Major delays were reported on the Orange Line.

Transit Police detectives and representatives from the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office are investigating.
