Man dies after being hit by commuter rail train in Hyde Park

BOSTON — A man was fatally struck by a train on Saturday morning after trespassing the right of way in Hyde Park.

Transit Police responded to reports of a person hit by a train at around 10:30 a.m. at the Fairmont Commuter Rail station.

At the scene, first responders found a man, age unknown at this time, who had been struck by an outbound commuter rail train after trespassing on the tracks.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say foul play is not suspected.
