Three people indicted in connection to Stoughton teen’s murder

STOUGHTON, Mass. — Three people have been indicted by the Norfolk County Grand Jury in connection to the murder of 17-year-old Christian Vines.

Vines was shot outside of the Walnut Park Condominiums on July 21, 2020, and was found dying in the driver’s seat of his mother’s Honda in the parking lot.

“I love my son,” Annette Vines said before collapsing in her aunt’s arms a few feet from where her son was fatally shot. “I just I can’t believe he’s gone.”

He was set to graduate from Avon High School and turn 18 in August.

Teenager shot and killed at Stoughton apartment complex

Jaylen Wallace was indicted but a superior court murder arraignment has not yet been scheduled.

Indictment warrants were issued for 19-year-old Alyssa Joyette of Brockton and 22-year-old Tyleke Curry of Stoughton for allegedly acting as accessories. The two were taken into custody on Friday by Stoughton Police.

The prosecution of Wallace, Joyette, and Curry has been assigned to Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Blair.

The incident remains under active investigation with additional indictments anticipated.
