Bad reception: Transit Police searching for suspect who threw victim’s phone into pit

BOSTON, Mass. — Transit Police are looking for a male suspect who forcefully grabbed a woman’s cell phone and threw it into the pit at the Downtown Crossing MBTA stop on March 20th.

The incident happened on the southbound platform at approximately 11:00 p.m.

Video shows the suspect walking down the platform and snatching the phone from the unsuspecting victim.
