BOSTON — Red Line train service has resumed after a broken rail at Central forced shuttle bus service between Park Street and Harvard Saturday morning.
MBTA announced on Twitter Saturday morning that shuttle buses were brought in to replace train service in both directions between Harvard and Park Street due to a track problem at Central.

Soon after, MBTA announced it was a broken rail that caused the problems.

By 11 a.m. Saturday, the MBTA announced shuttle buses are being phased out and train service is resuming after crews repaired the track.
