ABINGTON, Mass. — A second victim has passed away after a police chase lead to a deadly crash in Abington, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office announced.

According to the DA, a female victim has been pronounced dead on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 7:50 AM when police spotted a reported stolen Hyundai Santa Fe and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

A short chase ensued before the SUV crashed into a tree. The driver of the crash, 17-year-old Sebastian Hamilton, was pronounced dead on scene, while four other victims were transported to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the name of the second victim has not yet been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
