WORCESTER, Mass. — The search for Karen Solomon has now entered its sixth day, as authorities continue looking for the woman wanted on a warrant for assault and battery in connection with the death of her police officer husband.
Worcester police told Boston 25 that the search at Coes Pond has been slow due to poor visibility, which was reported to be just two inches.
“This pond is pretty murky and has not had much visibility from the start,” police said.
Divers briefly stopped their search as thunder and lightning moved through the Worcester area just before noon Sunday, Worcester police said.

Solomon was last seen walking near Westside Animal Clinic in the area of Coes Pond early Tuesday morning.
The city has since closed Stearns Tavern and Coes Pond parks until further notice.
Authorities say Solomon is considered to be armed and dangerous.
