NORWOOD, Mass. — One person was transported to the hospital after an accident on Route 1 in Norwood sent a school bus crashing into The Chateau late Saturday night, according to the Fire department.
Emergency crews were dispatched to 400 Boston-Providence Highway around 10 p.m. for a school bus through the front of the restaurant after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.
Fire crews evacuated the building after containing a fluid leak.
Officials say one person was transported to a local area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers on the bus.
