PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND — The Roger Williams Park Zoo would like you to meet their newest resident that will be hanging around.
The zoo recently welcomed a baby Linne’s Two-Toed Sloth.
Born to mom Fiona and Dad Westley, the newborn is keeping close to mom, the zoo says.
Baby sloths will cling to their moms for nearly the first full year of their lives. The jungle animals typically sleep between 15 and 20 hours a day.
