SOMERVILLE, Mass. — A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being hit by an SUV in Somerville Monday night, Mass. State Police announced. That crash happened just before 9 p.m. Monday on Route 28 and Broadway in the city.
The vehicle fled the scene following the collision. Police said the SUV is white, has front-end damage and has writing on its doors.

That victim was transported to a hospital in the Boston area.
