Salisbury Police investigating the death of a pet dog and water fowl

SALISBURY, Mass. — A privately owned water fowl and pet dog were found dead after an incident took place Wednesday morning in Salisbury.

Officers responded to the area of Beach Road and Dock Lane and are now investigating. The animals cause of death is unknown at this time.

There is no immediate danger to other animals or pets in the area, according to police.

The department is working with the Massachusetts Environmental Police and the Essex County District Attorney’s Office to file any applicable charges.
