Jillian Timmons, 34 (Abington Police Department)

ABINGTON, Mass. — An Abington woman has been placed under arrest and is scheduled to be arraigned on charges after an investigation found that she physically abused her two-month-old child, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office announced.

34-year-old Jillian Timmons is facing two counts of Assault and Battery on a Child Causing Serious Bodily Injury, and one count of Reckless Endangerment of a Child.

A two week investigation was launched by Mass. The investigation resulted in detectives developing probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant for Timmons, who was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon.

At this time the baby is being treated at a Boston Hospital and an investigation is ongoing.

Timmons will be arraigned in Brockton District Court tomorrow.
