WORCESTER, Mass. — The City of Worcester will open Bell Pond Beach with lifeguard staffing on Thursday, city officials said.
The beach will be staffed with lifeguards from Thursday through Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. each week until closing day on Aug. 20.
The pool at Crompton Park and the beach at Shore Park will continue to be open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Aug. 20.
Spray parks at East Park and Greenwood Park will continue to be open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Labor Day, Sept. 4.
The two remaining beaches at Coes Pond and Indian Lake Beach remain unstaffed, city officials said.
