Police: Truck driver charged in Holliston hit-and-run crash

HOLLISTON, Mass. — Holliston Police say the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a child on a bicycle last week has been identified and charged.

Police say the accident happened Friday night on Concord Street.

After posting pictures of the truck police were looking for, officers say the driver walked into the police station and was charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.

The crash happened around 6:15 in an area that's a very busy road with no shoulder and a sidewalk only on one side of the street.

The child was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

The driver will be summonsed to Framingham District Court.
