CRISP SUNSHINE
Friday and Saturday both look sunny and cozy with lower humidity and highs in the 70s — a nice stretch of early September weather heading into the weekend. Friday night should be perfect to see the Honor Summit beams of light from Mount Washington. Those beams of light should be visible up to 135 miles from the peak - which gets the view all the way into northern MA.
SUNDAY SHOWERS
The pattern will shift Sunday with rain arriving at some point in the morning and lasting through at least early afternoon. Average rainfall 0.5-1″ appears likely in southern New England with pockets of much heavier downpours. That could lead to localized flooding. We’re not expecting strong wind, hail, or lightning. This is strictly rain that you’ll want to plan around. We’ve added a weather alert Sunday to make sure you check back on timing and where the heaviest rain will fall.
