Boston 25 Weather

Weather Alert for late storms

RAIN & STORMS

Be ready for two rounds of showers today. The morning commute will feature the first batch with plain rain coming through. Things will dry out midday and for a good chunk of the afternoon.

The match at Boston Stadium looks dry with storms focused in NH, VT, and ME at that time. By early evening those storms will drop into MA. Although scattered and not affecting every town, the communities that do see a thunderstorm could experience hail and damaging wind gusts. That risk for severe weather, even with limited coverage, has us on a Weather Alert. Storms will fade by midnight.

WEEKEND IN VIEW

Saturday starts with a few showers far south. Many of you will stay dry and partly cloudy. A few pop up showers will develop in the afternoon in southern New England but will not be widespread.

Sunday looks drier and brighter. We will watch for an isolated shower in the afternoon, but it does not look like a big weather concern. High temperatures stay comfortable in the upper 70s and low 80s.

HEATING UP!

Monday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid 80s. Temperatures continue to climb through the week, with near 90-degree heat and humidity back mid and late week!
