Skies remain clear overnight with lows dipping into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds will be out of the west anywhere from 5-10 mph, with some isolated gusts up to 20 MPH.
WEEKEND IN VIEW
It’s shaping up to be a gorgeous start to the weekend with a mainly sunny sky in the forecast for both Friday and Saturday. Expect seasonable highs for both days too, in the mid to upper 60s. Clouds build heading into Sunday ahead of increasing rain chances Sunday night.
TROPICS UPDATE
Tropical storm Isaias became a category 2 hurricane during the evening and will bring heavy rain, damaging winds and storm surge flooding to parts of the Gulf Coast and Southeast over the next few days. Eventually, the remnants of the storm will head our way, bringing our next best chance for widespread rain early next week, especially Monday morning. Make sure to check back for updates!
