Pats LB says NFL drug testing him following big night in win over Falcons

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy announced Friday morning that the NFL is drug testing him following his performance in New England’s shutout victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Thursday Night Football.

Van Noy had quite the night for the Patriots in Atlanta. The 30-year-old eight-year veteran of the NFL combined for eight tackles, including a pair of sacks, in the win. He also returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown to ice the game for the Patriots late in the fourth quarter.

It was the first pick-six of Van Noy’s career and the first since 2019. The last time the linebacker intercepted a pass was the 2018 season.
