BOSTON — Three Bruins have undergone offseason surgeries, and Torey Krug may not return to action until the beginning of November.
Krug underwent shoulder surgery, performed by the Bruins head team physician, Dr. Peter Asnis. He’s expected to be out six months. Krug had 40 assists in 2016 while playing in 81 games.
David Krejci underwent hip surgery and will be close to returning to action when the regular season starts in October. Krejci finished the 2016 season with 63 points (46 assists, 17 goals) in 72 games.
Matt Beleskey underwent surgery on his left hand and will be out six weeks. Acquired from Anaheim prior to the 2015-16 season, Beleskey finished the year with 15 goals and 22 assists.
