Former Red Sox first baseman and current MLB Network analyst Kevin Millar joins Austin Bumpus as the tenth guest on Expand On That, Boston 25's weekly sports podcast.
Millar discusses his transition to the sports media world as he prepares to host live editions of Intentional Talk from Washington, D.C. for the 2018 All-Star Game (1:04 to 5:08).
He and Bumpus also talk about how things have evolved in the baseball world, and how social media is being used by players both positively and negatively (5:09 to 7:00).
With the All-Star Game next week, Millar gives his thoughts on snubs in the voting, and who should've been picked for the event in a loaded talent pool (7:01 to 8:49).
Millar talks about his former team, the Red Sox, as they continue their battle atop the AL East with the New York Yankees, and debates whether or not they can make a run in the postseason (8:50 to 11:55).
