Young mom's arms broken with crowbar during vicious road rage incident

A young mother in Edmonton, Canada, had both of her arms broken by a man during a violent road rage incident on Tuesday.

The woman told local police that she beeped her horn at a car that was stopped in her lane while she was attempting to turn.

The car then followed the woman to a nearby home, where she got out of her car and started to walk inside.

The man then allegedly ran up to her and began to beat her with the crowbar.

"We believe the suspect was swinging for the complainant's head, and she blocked it," a police spokesman told CBC News. "Otherwise, those injuries could have been even more significant.

The woman was taken to a hospital where she underwent surgery on both of her arms.

Police are still looking for her attacker.
