ORLANDO — BatKid was on the case of a missing mascot.
BatKid’s real identity is 6-year-old Masai Wheeler. But he was the one who rescued Orlando Magic’s mascot Stuff after he was kidnapped, WFTV reported.

There wasn’t a real crime though.
Masai had his dream come true to crack the case as BatKid, thanks to the Axel Foundation and Give Kids The World, WFTV reported.

Masai has a serious heart condition and is staying with his family at the Give Kids The World Village this week. As part of his stay, Masai celebrated his sixth birthday on Wednesday with “The Caped Crusader” before he went on his crime-solving adventure, the organization said on Facebook.
