A Quincy Police officer was attacked while responding to a domestic dispute, according to Quincy Police.
Police say the incident happened around 3:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Doyle Terrace.
After the attack, police say the officer then had to chase the suspect on foot, and he was eventually caught and taken into custody.

The officer was taken to South Shore Medical Center in Weymouth with minor injuries, where he was released and is now doing fine.
