Police have ruled that the two suspicious deaths in Hollis, New Hampshire were a result of a murder-suicide, according to New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald.
MacDonald said the investigation is ongoing as authorities look into the deaths of 51-year-old Brian McDonough and 41-year-old Alisa Mayo, who were found dead in the same resident in Hollis on Saturday.

MacDonald said the chief medical examiner determined the cause of Mayo's death was a gunshot wound to the head, and ruled the death a homicide.
Meanwhile, McDonough's death was also a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled a suicide.
Authorities said the two wer eknown to each other, and said their bodies were discovered by police during a welfare check at the home where they were found.
