BEVERLY, Mass. — The Beverly Depot MBTA Station is closed Friday morning after a person was struck by a train.
At 6:15 a.m., police were called to Beverly Depot for a body found. Police Chief John LeLacheur says the station is closed northbound after a person was struck by an outbound train. MBTA Transit police say the man died of his injuries. His name or age has not been released.

The Commuter Rail Rockport Line northbound train is running about 5-15 minutes behind.
Rockport Line Train 104 (6:30am inbound) is expected to operate 5-15 minutes late between Beverly & N Station due to a trespasser incident.
