FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — In a recently released statement from the New England Patriots, it's been confirmed that rookie linebacker Harvey Langi and a passenger were involved in a motor vehicle crash on Friday night in Foxborough.
According to ESPN, Langi's wife was in the car with him at the time of the crash.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., Langi and his wife were sitting at a stop light when another vehicle rear-ended them.
Police had to use the "jaws of life", a hydraulic apparatus used to free people trapped in car wreckages, to get to one person.
Five people in total were taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries during the accident, according to officials.
