MEDWAY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are on the hunt for a killer fugitive who has allegedly committed another murder.
FOX25's Bob Ward has exclusive new information in a New England's Unsolved case that he's been following for months. Police in Providence, Rhode Island say they consider this case open and active.
The first victim was Robert Bullard, of Medway. Since his murder, police say, his killer has struck again.
Twenty-eight-year-old Malcolm Querido is a fugitive wanted for two murders. The first was Bullard and police believe he killed the second victim while Bullard's heartbroken family waited for justice.
Bullard's sister Amy said, "It's disgusting. He's family. Maybe they don't see him, but they still have him. We don't have Bobby any more."
Bullard was stabbed to death after getting into an argument with a woman in this apartment on Sept. 7.
Robert's sister said that her brother didn't have a chance against a man armed with a knife.
"My brother was a big strong guy. If they fought hand to hand, my brother would still be here," she said.
Police quickly identified Querido as a suspect in the Bullard murder and a warrant was issued for an arrest.
But he slipped away and no one heard from him for months. Until May 10. When another person was murdered Thirty-nine-year-old Kareem Barnes was shot in the head in a common hallway of a Providence apartment.
The prime suspect was once again, Querido.
Police are now looking for this man who is wanted for two murders.
"Catching him is not going to bring Bobby back," Bullard's sister said. "Nothing will. I just cant stand for him to be out there, walking, living, not caring about other human lives."
At the time of the Bullard murder, Querido was living in north Providence and now he could be anywhere.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
