Man dies in overnight Roxbury stabbing

An adult man was stabbed to death in Roxbury on Saturday night, Boston Police say.

Officers responded to a call for an unknown medical emergency just before 10 p.m. Saturday night. Upon arrival, law enforcement found an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. He was declared dead on the scene, per a release from BPD.

On Monday, police identified the victim as 70-year-old Edward Mowring of Roxbury.

The incident occurred on Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury. There were no further details released about the victim.
