BPD seek help identifying man in connection to fatal Jan. stabbing in Roxbury

BOSTON — Boston police are seeking help identifying a man seen on video surveillance moments before a fatal January stabbing of a 70-year-old man in Roxbury.

The video shows a man wearing a black North Face jacket walking near what appears to be a liquor store on Blue Hill Avenue just before 70-year-old Edward Mowring, of Roxbury, was stabbed to death on Jan. 12, 2018.

Officers had responded to a call for a medical emergency at 49 Blue Hill Ave., around 10 p.m. that night, and found Mowring dead from multiple stab wounds, according to police.
