MELROSE, Mass. — Melrose Police are searching for a man they said robbed a TD bank on Saturday.
Officers responded to a call for a robbery at around 12:10 p.m. at the TD Bank on 478 Main Street.
According to officials, a man walked into the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers.
The man fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money.
No weapons were shown and no injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white man approximately 35 to 45 years old, average height and weight, with dark hair and has a beard and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark coat with a hood and a baseball cap.
Officers used a K9 to track the suspect, but have reason to believe he left the area in a car.
Investigators are reviewing video surveillance footage from the bank and the area.
