Man arrested after breaking into woman's home in trouble again, despite GPS bracelet

WEYMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man arrested after breaking into a woman's home and watching her sleep, is under arrest again. He allegedly committed another crime despite being ordered to wear a GPS bracelet.

The Weymouth woman, who asked us to conceal her identity, is shocked that the man who broke into her home last October to watch her sleep is under arrest again, especially since he was wearing a GPS bracelet.

"Yes, he had the GPS bracelet on from the break in of my apartment," she said.

On Wednesday, Weymouth police arrested 41-year-old Jason Tinsley at his Kensington Street home using his own GPS bracelet to connect him to a recent car break.

"Why is he out of jail doing the exact same robberies?" she asked.

It turns out Tinsley reportedly stole a wallet from a car on Tuesday and then tried to use a credit card at a Sunoco, but was declined. However, at the Braintree T stop he did spend more than $400.

Weymouth police obtained surveillance video from the T and recognized Tinsley due to his long rap sheet. So police used the GPS bracelet he was wearing to trace him.

The latest offense was a probation violation for Tinsley, so he will remain behind bars until he is due back in court in November.
