It is still unclear what set off the deadly shootings. Police said Holloman is a career criminal and known gang member.

Holloman pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder. He will not be released. A judge ordered Holloman held without bail while he awaits his next hearing, which is scheduled for Nov. 15.
