Things to do in the Massachusetts area this weekend

Looking for something fun to do this weekend, we have a few suggestions.

Monster Jam

If you’re looking for an action-packed adventure, head to Foxborough for Monster Jam at Gillette Stadium. It’s happening this Saturday May 6, with a pit party beginning at 2:30 p.m. where you can check out the trucks, meet the drivers, take pictures, and enjoy lots of other activities.

The main event kicks off at 7 p.m., with world-class drivers showing off their skills and racing for the championship. Click the link here for tickets.

Public Safety Day & Touch a Truck

Do you know a kid who is crazy about trucks? Now is their chance to climb inside a few! The town of Holliston is hosting a public safety day and touch-a-truck event. Check it out this Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holliston High School.

The Greenway Food Truck Festival

If the upcoming warm weather has you in the mood for outdoor dining, bring your appetite to Boston for the Greenway Food Truck Festival and Artisan Market! The festival is this Saturday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can order what you like from the array of food trucks, visit the Trillium Beer Garden or the Greenway carousel, and venture over to Rowe’s wharf plaza to see the offerings from local artisans.

Tulip Festival

If there’s one benefit to all of our April showers, it has to be the May flowers! If you want to enjoy them or even pick some to take home, head to a Cider Hill farm in Amesbury for the ongoing Tulip Festival this weekend! You can enjoy live music, the outdoor hard cider bar, and food trucks, and of course the tulips. You do need to pre-purchase an online ticket if you plan to pick any tulips, so do that before you go.

Wherever you go this weekend, have fun!
