Missing Quincy man found safe

QUINCY, Mass. — UPDATE: Quincy Police say Jin Qing Tang has been found safe.

Thank you to everyone who helped locate him.

Police in Quincy have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 72-year-old man who was last seen leaving his residence on Quincy Shore Drive just after 9 a.m. Tuesday to go for a walk and has not returned since.

That man has been identified as Jin Qing Tang, who suffers from a hearing impairment and is a diabetic.

Tang is described as a 5-foot-6 Asian man with brown eyes and short, gray hair. Police said he was wearing gray pants, a black hooded jacket, a white hat and black sneakers without laces when he was last seen.

Anyone with information on Tang’s whereabouts is asked to contact Quincy Police at (617) 745-5830.
