ABINGTON, Mass. — Investigators are asking for help identifying a man in connection with two fires set inside the Walmart on May 4.
Firefighters responded to the store at 777 Brockton Avenue around 7 p.m.

As employees and customers gathered near the fires, the suspect swiftly exited the store with a bag of unpaid merchandise and fled the scene on a bicycle, according to police.
No one was hurt.
The store was closed for about an hour, but reopened the same evening.

Anyone with information on the suspect accused of setting the fires is urged to call Officer Brian Feely at 781-878-3232 ext. 5326 or email him at bfeely@abingtonpolice.org.
People with tips can also contact the Arson Hotline at 1-800-682-9229. All calls are confidential. The hotline is part of the Arson Watch Reward Program, which is sponsored by the property and casualty insurance companies of Massachusetts. Anyone who provides information that helps solve the case is eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
