BOSTON — The South Boston apartment building that actor Matt Damon’s character called home in the critically acclaimed film “Good Will Hunting” is now available to rent.

A triple-decker building at 190 West 6th Street, which has undergone heavy renovations since the film debuted in 1997, currently has a second-floor apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms available to rent for $4,500 a month, according to a real estate listing.

Damon, who played Will Hunting in the movie alongside Robin Williams and Ben Affleck, worked as a Massachusetts Institute of Technology janitor who had a gift for mathematics. He lived on the first floor of the building.

The 1,000-square-foot apartment up for rent features a chef’s kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a wine fridge, a breakfast bar, a separate dining space, an open-concept living room with a gas fireplace, “generous-sized” bathrooms, a laundry unit, central air, a private deck, and crown moldings and hardwood floors throughout the unit.

Yes, parking in Boston is undoubtedly brutal, but don’t fret. Damon’s old digs comes with a parking a spot.

The tenant who moves in will have to pay for heat, hot water, cooking gas, and electricity. Pets aren’t permitted.
