New details revealed about suspect in Bellingham assault, home invasion

BELLINGHAM, Mass. — New details have been revealed about the suspect in the Bellingham assault and home invasion back on August 15.

22-year-old Joseph Ceballos Davilla of Woonsocket was charged with indecent assault and battery of a child under 14, rape of a child with force, aggravated, during the commission of a felony, accost of another person, indecent exposure, witness intimidation, and vandalizing property.

Around 12:37 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, officers responded to the area of South Main Street and Mann Street for a report of a residential breaking and entering.

Upon arrival, police were told that a suspect climbed through a window and assaulted one of the residents on Archer Street.

Ceballos was expected to be arraigned yesterday in Rhode Island and extradited back to Massachusetts to face his charges at a later date in Milford District Court.
