CONCORD, NH — A Manchester woman has been arrested on multiple driving-related charges following a pursuit on Interstate 93 in New Hampshire.
According to State Police, the incident occurred just after 10:30 PM on Wednesday, when troopers recieved a report of a hazardous driver on I-93 southbound between Exits 16 and 17 in Concord.
State Troopers located the vehicle, a maroon 2025 Lincoln Nautilus, near Exit 13. The vehicle did not stay in a single lane and failed to stop for troopers, which led to a pursuit.
A tire deflation device was deployed, which ended the pursuit south of Hooksett Toll Plaza. The driver, 55-year-old Shannon Lavoie, was taken into custody under the following charges: misdemeanor aggravated DWI, DWI – impairment, disobeying an officer, and reckless operation, as well as violations of lane control and following too closely.
Lavoie was held on preventive detention at Merrimack County Jail and was arraigned in Concord District Court today.
