The southbound lanes were opened a little past 5:00 p.m. but three lanes on the northbound side remain closed. — A “major” accident on I-95 is snarling traffic during the Thursday evening commute.
I-95 was closed in both directions at exit 81 due to the crash, MassDOT posted on social media around 4:27 p.m.
