FALMOUTH, Mass. — Police have launched an investigation after one person was killed in a crash on Cape Cod on Saturday.
Officers responding to a report of an erratic driver in the area of Seacoast Shores Boulevard in Falmouth around 12:30 p.m. found a pickup truck that toppled multiple mailboxes before slamming into a tree near Edgewater Drive, according to the Falmouth Police Department.
The male driver, whose name has not been released, succumbed to his injuries at Falmouth Hospital.
State police are assisting Falmouth police with the investigation.
