Early voting for state primary begins Saturday

BOSTON — The Massachusetts primary is on September 6 but voters have a chance to cast their ballots early this year.

A seven-day early voting period begins Saturday, August 27, and ends on September 2.

Voters can check for their city or town’s early voting schedule by checking out www.VoteInMA.com

The first day of early voting, August 27, is also the last day to register to vote in the primaries.

Every city and town is required to offer early voting on at least one day per weekend of the early voting period.

Early voting is available to all registered voters who have not already cast a ballot by mail.
