Driver injured in collision between train and pickup truck in Sherborn

SHERBORN, Mass. — The driver of a pickup truck is hospitalized after a collision with a CSX train in Sherborn Thursday night.

It happened at the North Main Street crossing at 10:40 p.m. The crash sent the truck about 200 feet down the tracks.

The driver of the truck was taken by Sherborn’s Ambulance to a hospital in Boston. The driver’s condition was not released.

Crews remained on scene for several hours removing the vehicle and other hazards from the area.
